Preparation for black Christmas tea

A black tea deliciously flavored with Christmas spices. This preparation will be kept in an airtight box.

200 gr de thé


  • 200 gr black tea in bulk
  • 4 organic oranges
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 2 vanilla pods
  • 10 cloves crushed
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of cardamon powder

Preparation steps

  1. Peel the oranges with a zest
  2. Place the zest on the baking sheet covered with baking paper
  3. Bake the zest for 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 250°F. Remove from the oven and set aside
  4. In an airtight box mix tea, orange peel, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and cardamom
  5. Split the vanilla pods in half and scrape them to put the seeds in the tea mixture
  6. Also put the vanilla pods
  7. Close the box tightly to keep Christmas tea
  8. Serving: To serve the tea, put 1.5 teaspoons. of the mixture in an infuser ball or a reusable bag. Place in a cup and pour 194°F of heated water. Infuse, covered for 3 minutes. Take out the infuser ball and add to the cup, a star of badiane, 1 teaspoon. of honey and a slice of orange.
