Ingredients

  • 800g of rhubarb, cut into large pieces
  • 1 liter of vodka
  • 250g of powdered or granulated sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod, split in half (optional)

Preparation steps

  1. Place the rhubarb in a sterilized 2-liter jar or bottle.
  2. Pour in the vodka and sugar.
  3. Add the vanilla pod, if using.
  4. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  5. Seal the jar or bottle.
  6. Let it infuse in a cool, dark place for two months.
  7. Strain through a muslin cloth or fine sieve.
  8. Pour the filtered liquid into a bottle.
