Gourmet Dark Chocolate Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
- 400 ml of milk
- 100 ml of heavy cream
- 150 g of high-quality dark chocolate
- 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 50 g of sugar (adjust to taste)
- 100 ml of whipped cream
- 30 g of mixed nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds), roughly crushed
Preparation steps
- In a saucepan, mix the milk, heavy cream, unsweetened cocoa powder, and sugar. Gently bring to a boil.
- Meanwhile, break the dark chocolate into pieces.
- Once the milk mixture is hot, remove the saucepan from the heat and add the pieces of dark chocolate. Let them melt for a few minutes.
- Stir well until you achieve a smooth and homogeneous consistency.
- Pour the chocolate mixture into two large mugs.
- Generously top each mug with whipped cream.
- Sprinkle the crushed nuts on top.
