Who said you couldn't enjoy a refreshing Mojito while on your ketogenic diet ? Here's a recipe that maintains the classic Mojito flavor while being low in carbs.


Ingredients

  • 60 ml of rum
  • Juice of half a lime
  • A few mint leaves
  • 1 teaspoon of erythritol (or any other sweetener of your choice)
  • Sparkling water
  • Crushed ice

Preparation steps

  1. In a glass, pour the rum.
  2. Squeeze the juice of half a lime into the glass.
  3. Add the mint leaves to the glass.
  4. Sprinkle a teaspoon of erythritol (or your chosen sweetener) into the glass.
  5. Using a muddler, lightly crush the mint leaves to release their flavors.
  6. Fill the glass with crushed ice.
  7. Top up the glass with sparkling water until it's full.
  8. Gently stir with a spoon to mix all the ingredients.
  9. Garnish the glass with a slice of lime or an additional mint leaf, if desired.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Mojito !
