Ingredients

  • 30g sugar
  • 3 teaspoons chopped fresh ginger
  • 26 fresh mint leaves
  • Sparkling water
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Crushed ice
  • 1 sliced lemon

Preparation steps

  1. In a saucepan, mix the sugar, ginger, and enough water to cover the mixture.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add 16 mint leaves.
  4. Cover and let steep for 10 minutes.
  5. Strain the mixture and pour it into a bottle.
  6. Add the lemon juice, remaining mint leaves, and top it off with sparkling water.
  7. Mix well.
  8. Chill until the cocktail is very cold.
