Freix Mojito, a Sparkling Spanish Twist
The iconic Cuban Mojito gets a Spanish makeover in this "Freix Mojito." It blends the traditional freshness of a Mojito with the elegance and finesse of Gran Cordon Negro, a sparkling wine from Spain. Perfect for summer evenings, this cocktail offers a burst of flavors, combining the fruity sweetness of Manzana with the effervescence of the wine.
Ingredients
- 4 cl Manzana (apple liqueur)
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 0.5 cl cane syrup
- 1 lime
- 10 mint leaves
- Gran Cordon Negro (Spanish sparkling wine)
Preparation steps
- Wash and dice the lime.
- Add the lime pieces, brown sugar, mint leaves, and cane syrup to a large glass.
- Gently crush the mixture with a muddler.
- Pour in the Manzana and gently stir from the bottom up with a spoon.
- Divide the mixture into four long drink glasses.
- Top up each glass with Gran Cordon Negro.
