Pineapple and Ginger Martini

Ingredients
- 4.5 cl vodka
- 1 thin slice of fresh ginger root
- 1/2 slice of fresh pineapple, 1 cm thick
- 0.5 cl cane sugar syrup
- 1 pineapple leaf for garnish
- 5 to 6 ice cubes
Preparation steps
- Start by thoroughly rinsing the ginger root. Cut a thin slice about 1 cm in diameter and 1 mm thick.
- Peel the half slice of pineapple and chop it into small pieces.
- In the bottom part of the shaker, carefully crush the ginger slice using a muddler.
- Then, add the pineapple pieces into the shaker and also crush them to a puree consistency.
- Add the ice cubes, pour in the vodka and cane sugar syrup.
- Close the shaker and shake vigorously for about 10 seconds.
- Strain the mixture directly into a martini glass, using an ice strainer and a fine strainer to retain the pulp.
- Make a small incision in the pineapple leaf and place it on the rim of the glass for decoration.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
