Fun cocktail with rum, coconut and vanilla bean.



  • Dark rum
  • 1 Coconut
  • 1/2 Vanilla bean

Preparation steps

  1. Drill two holes in the coconut’s eye position using a drill.
  2. Collect and keep the coconut water cool.
  3. Fill the coconut with rum, using a funnel.
  4. Split a pod in half in its length and place it in a part of the coconut.
  5. Fill the holes in the coconut, using a small cap for example.
  6. Wrap it in a food film.
  7. Let macerate at room temperature for about 1 month.
  8. Refrigerate 3 days before serving.

  9. Decoration: Add a straw to one of the holes, the coconut then serves as a container.
