- Water: 1 liter
- A specific bag for plant-based milk, a clean cloth, or a coffee filter for straining
Preparation steps
- Soak the almonds in water and let them rest for a full night (between 8 and 12 hours).
- After that, drain the almonds, rinse them thoroughly, and transfer them to a blender container.
- Add 1 liter of water to the almonds and blend at high speed for 2 minutes.
- Pass the resulting mixture through a bag designed for plant-based milk or a clean cloth to strain it.
- Make sure to squeeze it well to extract as much almond milk as possible.
- Keep your almond milk in the refrigerator. It will stay fresh for 4 to 5 days. If you notice any separation in the mixture, simply shake it before use.
- Don't throw away the remaining pulp! It can be used as a substitute for almond flour in your cake recipes.
