  • Almonds: 250g
  • Water: 1 liter
  • A specific bag for plant-based milk, a clean cloth, or a coffee filter for straining

Preparation steps

  1. Soak the almonds in water and let them rest for a full night (between 8 and 12 hours).
  2. After that, drain the almonds, rinse them thoroughly, and transfer them to a blender container.
  3. Add 1 liter of water to the almonds and blend at high speed for 2 minutes.
  4. Pass the resulting mixture through a bag designed for plant-based milk or a clean cloth to strain it.
  5. Make sure to squeeze it well to extract as much almond milk as possible.
  6. Keep your almond milk in the refrigerator. It will stay fresh for 4 to 5 days. If you notice any separation in the mixture, simply shake it before use.
  7. Don't throw away the remaining pulp! It can be used as a substitute for almond flour in your cake recipes.
