Sparkling Blueberry and Woodruff Punch
Discover a refreshing and original version of punch, combining the sweetness of wild blueberries with the unique aroma of woodruff. This cocktail, perfect for festive occasions, offers a delicate harmony between fruity flavors and the effervescence of wines.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle of dry white wine
- 1 bottle of dry sparkling wine
- 4 cl of woodruff syrup
- 1 bunch of woodruff
- 1 lemon
- 100 g of wild blueberries
Preparation steps
- Start by preparing the woodruff. Wash it carefully and let it dry. Set aside a few leaves for the final decoration.
- Take the remaining woodruff leaves and tie them into a small bouquet.
- In a large bowl, pour 250 ml of dry white wine and add the woodruff syrup.
- Immerse the bouquet of woodruff into the bowl. Allow this mixture to infuse in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to extract the aromatic flavors.
- While the infusion is taking place, wash the lemon and cut it into thin slices.
- Remove the woodruff bouquet from the bowl.
- Add the wild blueberries and lemon slices to the mixture.
- Then, pour in the remaining white wine and the entire bottle of sparkling wine. Ensure that the sparkling wine is well chilled to maximize the effervescence of your punch.
- Gently mix everything together.
- Serve the punch in coupes or stemmed glasses, garnished with the reserved woodruff leaves.
