Very old cocktail popular in the United States and registered in IBA. It is based on whisky, pastis and angostura bitters.

Ingredients

  • 1 cl Pastis
  • 4 drops Angostura bitters
  • 1 cl cane sugar syrup
  • 6 cl Whisky
  • 1 Lemon

Preparation steps

  1. Refresh an old fashioned drink by adding a few ice cubes for a few minutes.
  2. Remove the ice cubes.
  3. Pour in the pastis, angostura bitters, whiskey and cane syrup.
  4. Stir gently with a spoon.
  5. Garnish with lemon zest.
