Creamy Spiced Autumn Delight Tea

Discover this invigorating and warm blend of tea and spices with a hint of sweet indulgence. Perfect for warming up cool evenings and providing a touch of comfort.



  • 600 ml of water
  • 3 green cardamom pods, lightly crushed
  • 2 thick slices of fresh ginger
  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise pod
  • 400 ml of milk (of your choice)
  • A generous pinch of grated nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon of loose black tea
  • 1 generous spoonful of honey or maple syrup

Preparation steps

  1. In a saucepan, combine the water, cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, and star anise.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat. Simmer gently for about 5 minutes until the spices' aromas infuse well.
  3. Add the milk to the saucepan, followed by the loose black tea. Stir gently.
  4. Bring to a boil again, then let it simmer gently for 2 minutes.
  5. Turn off the heat and let it steep for 2 to 3 minutes to intensify the flavors.
  6. Serve in cups, straining the mixture through a fine sieve.
  7. Finish by adding a spoonful of honey or maple syrup to each cup. Stir gently to combine.
  8. Optionally, for a luxurious touch, froth a bit of milk separately and place this delicate foam on top of your spiced tea.
