Canelé & Sweet Spice Coffee

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/3 teaspoon ground cinnamon (plus a little for garnish)
- 1/5 teaspoon ground ginger
- A pinch of ground nutmeg
- A pinch of ground cardamom
- 1 3/4 cups whole milk
- 4 espressos (or strong coffees)
- Whipped cream for garnish
- Crumbled cinnamon biscuits for garnish
Preparation steps
- In a thick-bottomed saucepan, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cardamom. Gradually whisk in the milk while stirring gently.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat until it's hot but not boiling.
- Meanwhile, prepare your espressos or strong coffees.
- Once the milk is infused and hot, transfer it to a tall pitcher, and using a milk frother or immersion blender, froth the milk until it becomes creamy foam.
- Pour the espresso into cups, add the spiced milk foam on top.
