  • 1 dose of saffron pistils (about 20-30 filaments)
  • 200 ml of water
  • 500 g of plain yogurt, Greek-style
  • 2 tbsp of powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp of powdered cardamom
  • 100 g of ice cubes

Preparation steps

  1. Infuse the saffron pistils in hot water for 20 to 30 minutes. The water should take on a beautiful yellow-orange hue. Then let the saffron infusion cool.
  2. In a blender, pour the plain Greek yogurt, the cooled saffron infusion, powdered sugar, and powdered cardamom.
  3. Blend until smooth and homogeneous.
  4. Add ice cubes to the blender and blend again to incorporate the ice and get a nice and fresh Lassi.
  5. Pour the Saffron and Cardamom Lassi into glasses and serve immediately. For a decorative touch, you can sprinkle a little powdered cardamom or saffron filaments on top of the Lassi.
