Refreshing Peach-Mint Iced Tea

Ingredients
- 1 liter of water
- 4 black tea or green tea bags, depending on your preference
- 2 ripe peaches
- 1 bunch of fresh mint
- 100g of powdered sugar
- 250 ml of cold water
- Crushed ice or ice cubes
- 4 bamboo straws
Preparation steps
- Heat 1 liter of water in a kettle or saucepan.
- Once the water is hot, pour it over the tea bags and let it infuse for 5 minutes.
- Then remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
- Meanwhile, wash the peaches and cut them into thin slices.
- Set aside a few slices for garnishing the glasses.
- Gently wash and dry the mint leaves.
- Set aside a few leaves for decoration.
- In a saucepan, pour 100g of powdered sugar and 250 ml of cold water.
- Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes to obtain a syrup.
- Let the syrup cool.
- In a large pitcher, mix the cooled tea, sugar syrup, and peach slices.
- Add the mint, taking care to lightly crush the leaves to release their aroma.
- Divide crushed ice or ice cubes into 4 glasses.
- Pour the iced tea mixture over the ice and garnish each glass with a peach slice and a few mint leaves.
- Serve the glasses with bamboo straws and enjoy this refreshing peach-mint iced tea immediately.
